Perlaan El Javier is the next step in our breeding operation. Although I had not the real need of a new stallion I was thinking about the perfect boy for my Sandstorm’s daughters. Being a real admirer of the Jamaal line and more and more of the Spanish bloodlines due to the influence of Sandstorm I had an image in my mind which became more and more clear.

Then I saw an ad on internet about Perlaan and at the first second I knew he was the right one, incredibly enormous black eyes, beautiful short and very dished head, soft expression, the total package! Sired by a son of Ali Jamaal and out of a straight Spanish mare!

Perlaan is born in 2004 at famous stud La Movida Arabians run by Ferdinand Huemer, this is the largest collection of Jamaal horses in Europe. Below is the first shot of Perlaan I saw and which retained my attention !

Perlaan’s sire is Javier el Jamaal a son of the world famous Ali Jamaal and out of the beautiful Juliet el Ludjin by Ludjin el Jamaal and NV Justa Dream by Bey Shah. Javier is National reserve champion of Austria.

Justa Dream by Bey Shah is the foundation mare of Lenita Perroy in Brazil owner of the fabulous Ali Jamaal. Juliet el Ludjin is the full sister of the magnificient Jullye el Ludjin considered by many breeders around the world as one of the most beautiful and attractive mares ever. Jullye el Ludjin is also very well known for being the dam of the champion Jullyen El Jamaal full blood brother of Javier.

From his sire line Perlaan carries the blood of Ali Jamaal ( twice ), El Shaklan, Bey Shah and many many more. That is a blend of bloods that we particularly appreciate.

Perlaan’s dam is a very important mare in the Arabian breed. The straight Spanish bred Porlamar by Galero and Hamida by Jacio. Porlamar was National Champion of Spain before being exported to USA were she had also great successes and then was reimported in Europe. She became the foundation mare of La Movida Arabians and produced some incredible horses such as LM Perlamor by El Perfecto who was European reserve Champion and won his class at the World championship, then he also produced some wonderful horses who have made their mark both in the ring and in the breeding shed. LM Porleen by Essteem was National Champion of Austria and International Champion. The beautiful LM Perlamar also by El Perfecto is a top broodmare for Marieta Salas in Spain. Pashmina el Javier, full sister to Perlaan is in England with our friend Justine Bassindale. Porla El Bri by CH El Brillo is also an international show winner …..a wordly mare!
